Privacy Policy

Draft for launch. Have legal counsel review this and complete the [bracketed] fields (entity, jurisdiction, DPO contact) before going live.

Who we are

Swiftly Studio is operated by [Legal Entity Name]. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website and Adobe plugin (the “Service”), how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Account data — your name and email, managed by our authentication provider Clerk.
  • Payment data — purchases are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. We receive a billing reference and subscription status; we do not store your full card details.
  • Content you provide — the prompts you enter and the media you upload as input, plus the media you generate. These are stored on Cloudflare R2 to deliver results back to you.
  • Usage & diagnostics — product analytics (via Amplitude) and error/performance logs (via Sentry), e.g. features used, plugin version, host app, and crash details. PII is scrubbed from error reports.

How we use your data

To provide and operate the Service; to generate media (which requires sending your prompts and inputs to AI model providers); to process payments and manage subscriptions and credits; to secure, debug, and improve the Service; and to communicate with you about your account and support.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers that run the Service, and we do not sell your personal data:
  • Clerk — authentication and account management.
  • Paddle — payments, tax, invoicing (Merchant of Record).
  • Cloudflare R2 — storage and delivery of your media.
  • AI model providers (e.g. fal.ai and the underlying model hosts) — your prompts and inputs are sent to them to generate Output, subject to their terms.
  • Amplitude and Sentry — analytics and error monitoring.
We may also disclose data to comply with law or protect rights and safety.

Retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Generated media and prompts are retained while your account is active; you can delete generations from your account. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, scoped access, fail-closed authentication) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise them, email support@swiftlystudio.com (or our data contact at [privacy@…]). You can also close your account at any time.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Questions or requests: support@swiftlystudio.com.
